Woods Hole Film Festival.

Doug and Lisa hit the road once more for the 33rd annual Woods Hole Film Festival on Cape Cod, a breathtaking spot in late July and August. Three films that Madpix collaborated on were showcased at the festival: FIRST WE BOMBED NEW MEXICO, CHAMPIONS OF THE GOLDEN VALLEY, and COUNTED OUT.

As the Artist in Residence at WHFF, Doug was excited to lead a Masterclass on July 29th, which received a great response. He also joined FIRST WE BOMBED NEW MEXICO director Lois Lipman for a Q&A session following the film’s screening.

Later on, Doug and Lisa took part in a panel discussion titled “The State of Independent Film,” hosted by Women in Film and Video in New England.

They also enjoyed watching a variety of documentaries and connecting with other filmmakers.

It was an amazing trip! A heartfelt thank you to Judy Laster, Executive Director of WHFF, for making it such an unforgettable experience. Stay tuned for more adventures in the fall.
